NIU men’s basketball (5-2) returns Tuesday to the Convocation Center for its first home game in over three weeks after a four-game road trip.
After seeing its five-game win streak snapped by Northwestern University last week, the Huskies will look to get back in the win column against the Indiana State University Sycamores (7-1). The Huskies will then travel to New Jersey to take on the Monmouth University Hawks (4-4) in their final game before winter break.
Junior guards David Coit (19.6 points per game) and Zarique Nutter (16.1 ppg) each rank in the top-10 in points per game in the MAC.
WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Sunday, Dec. 10: vs. University of Detroit Mercy, 1 p.m.

NIU women’s basketball returns home (3-5) at 1 p.m. Sunday to host the University of Detroit Mercy (6-3). The Huskies’ are coming off a 89-79 loss to Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (2-7).

NIU Hockey looks to close out the first semester on a positive note as it takes on No. 5 ranked University of Mary. The Marauders are fresh off a 3-2 victory over No. 4 University of Jamestown on Saturday. The Huskies are on a four-game losing streak, most recently dropping a home-and-home series to Purdue University Northwest 14-2 on Friday and 6-1 on Saturday.
