If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.

And that is exactly what NIU linkster Nicole Jeray gets to do when she competes in her second LPGA tournament in as many weeks. Saturday through Monday, the Huskie senior takes part in the Rail Classic at the Rail Country Club in Springfield, Ill. Jeray fought for one of two spots Sunday and made the cut with a 1-under-par 71.

Jeray took part in last week’s LPGA Chicago Sun-Times Shootout where her two-day card of 149 was just two shots shy of making the 147 cut. At the Rail Classic, rounds will be played Saturday and Sunday with the championship being held Monday.
