After a date with the in-state rival Illinois State University Redbirds (8-9), NIU baseball (7-13, 4-2 MAC) will host the Miami University RedHawks (7-10, 2-4 MAC) in its first home series of the 2024 season. Following series wins over MAC rivals Ohio University and the University of Akron to open up conference play, the Huskies will look to continue their winning ways in DeKalb. The Huskies are currently tied with Western Michigan University and the University of Toledo for second place in the MAC.
