DeKALB – NIU served as the host to nearly 300 people who viewed the solar eclipse from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday outside Davis Hall on the east side of campus.
Assistant physics professor Hector de la Torre Perez helps his wife Victoria Moyano Luna, a Warrenville resident, use a pair of binoculars with solar eclipse filters on the lenses.
