NIU women’s basketball coach Jane Albright is also being considered for another job.

The University of Arizona has contacted NIU athletic director Gerald O’Dell about the seven-year NIU coach succeeding June Olkowski, who resigned after a four-year stint.

“Yes, they have contacted me,” O’Dell said. “They have talked to Albright also, but do have other candidates.”

Butch Henry, Arizona’s Sports Information Director, confirmed that the interviewing process for a new coach started this week and continues next week.
