Molinari linked to vacant Texas post

NIU head basketball coach Jim Molinari’s name has surfaced in reports regarding the vacant head-coaching position at Texas A&M University.

Texas A&M Athletic Director John David Crow reportedly talked to Molinari in Indianapolis this weekend where both men were attending the Final Four. Molinari has been mentioned as one of the four leading candidates to take over for the outgoing Kermit Davis Jr.

In 1990-91, Molinari led the Huskies to NIU’s first NCAA at-large bid and a 25-6 mark.
