NIU Athletics will host a public celebration of its 2024 Hall of Fame class on Friday in the Duke Ellington Ballroom at the Holmes Student Center.
Among the seven inductees is former NIU quarterback Jordan Lynch, who finished third in Heisman Trophy voting in 2013 and ranks fourth in NIU history in passing yards and passing touchdowns.
The event is free to attend. The ballroom will be open for cocktail reception at 5 p.m. before the 7 p.m. ceremony.
This is the second Hall of Fame class since the COVID-19 pandemic, which delayed the most recent ceremony from 2021 to 2022. Hall of Fame classes are inducted on an every other year basis.
The class of 2022 included current NIU football head coach Thomas Hammock, who played for the Huskies from 1999 to 2002.
