DEKALB HIGH SCHOOL THEATER FALL PLAY – “HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD”

The DeKalb High School Theater presents the play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” with ticket prices starting at $10.
SCHOOL OF THEATRE AND DANCE PRESENTS “MACHINAL”

Location: Black Box Theatre, Stevens Building
The story of “Machinal” is based on the true story of Ruth Synder, a New York woman who was executed in the electric chair in 1928 after being accused of murdering her husband. Tickets cost $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and staff, $12 non-NIU students and are free for NIU students.

This celebration of the music of Pink Floyd will feature a tribute performance showcasing a cast of nine musicians and vocalists along with captivating lights and video. Ticket prices are $27, $37 and $47, depending on how close seats are to the stage. Students with a valid student ID will receive a $5 discount.

Enjoy various pumpkin-themed activities and competitions such as a pumpkin carving and a pumpkin rolling competition. This event is free to attend.
DIA DE LOS MUERTOS PERFORMANCES

Enjoy performances by the Tumbao Latin Dance Team, Flor De Café and Dimensions Dance Academy in celebration of Dia de los Muertos. This event is free for all to attend.
FARWELL TO ALEBRIJES – DESPEDIDA DE ALEBRIJES

Location: Founders Memorial Library
Catch the Alebrijes exhibit before it leaves on Nov. 8. Enjoy some live music, hot cocoa and pastries. This event is free for all to attend.
INTRODUCTION TO ELECTRONIC MUSIC

This course teaches the basics of creating electronic music using studio equipment in the library. This class is for teenagers and adults and no registration is required.
