DeKalb – As of 12:26 a.m. Wednesday, the 2024 presidential race is too close to call, and 14th Congressional District Representative Lauren Underwood won reelection, among the other unofficial results of the 2024 general election, according to the Associated Press.
The 2024 general election results are not final until all ballots have been counted. DeKalb County will count ballots until Nov. 18 or 19th.

Kamala D. Harris won the AP race call for Illinois at 7:38 p.m. on Tuesday. As of 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, Kamala D. Harris and Tim Walz received 23,545 votes with 50.1% in DeKalb County. Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance received 22,672 votes with 48.2% in DeKalb County. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Nicole Shanahan received 818 votes with 1.7% in DeKalb County. According to the Associated Press, the race is too close to call.

Lauren Underwood won the AP race call at 9:18 p.m. Tuesday. In the 14th Congressional District, Lauren Underwood received 21,788 votes with 54% in DeKalb County. James T. “Jim” Marter received 18,035 votes with 45% in DeKalb County. There were also 50 write-in votes with less than 1% in DeKalb County.
