HOLIDAY DREAMS – A SPECTACULAR FAMILY CIRQUE!
Time and Date: 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Friday
Location: Convocation Center
This holiday cirque show will feature various holograms and lasers as well as a cast of extreme acrobats and award-winning performers. Tickets will be $25 per person.
Time and Date: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday
Location: Jonamac Orchard
Check out the annual Winter Holiday Market featuring local artisans, refreshments such as apple wine and hard cider as well as delicious treats like cider donuts, caramel apples and more.
CELEBRATION CHORALE CHRISTMAS CANTATA
Time and Date: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday
Location: First United Methodist Church
Join the Celebration Chorale for an early Christmas musical featuring a collection of old and new holiday tunes. Three seasonal favorites from the “Home Alone” movie series will be featured as well. No charge is required for the performance.
26TH ANNUAL NIU CHOIR AND BRASS HOLIDAY CONCERT
Time and Date: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday
Location: Music Building, Boutell Memorial Concert Hall
Enjoy this holiday-themed performance from the members of the NIU Concert Choir, University Chorus, Brass Ensemble, Chamber Choir and DeKalb Festival Chorus as they play holiday songs such as “Ceremony of Carols” by Benjamin Britten, “O Come, All Ye Faithful” by John Francis Wade and more.
Tickets are free for NIU students, cost $15 for the general public and are $10 for non-niu students, seniors and staff.

Location: Egyptian Theatre
The Egyptian Theatre presents the classic ballet performance of “The Nutcracker” with beautiful stage sets and colorful costumes. Regular ticket prices are $24 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under, while premium tickets are $29 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under.
