With the return to class, many students may have forgotten their old academic routine. Getting up early and going to class is something we had partially forgotten for a month, taking advantage of the end-of-year festivities.
However, the new semester has arrived and this time we bring a poll about what your favorite building to study or take classes on campus is.
BARSEMA HALL
Although Barsema Hall is the business building, it does not mean that any student can’t enter to study. With plenty of space and a cafe included, it’s an ideal place to connect to your computer and finish work. However, it must be admitted that it is quite far from the rest of campus, which can complicate its accessibility to those who do not have a car, especially with the winter weather.
DUSABLE HALL
This is a friendly building for all students, regardless of their future career. We have all had at least one class in this building which gives Dusable Hall a touch of familiarity. It is also very centralized on campus, allowing access from different points of campus. It has its own area for studying, which is also frequented by fraternities and other organizations for tabling events.
SWEN PARSON HALL
Swen Parson is one of the largest buildings on the entire campus. There are various places to study in its corridors, as well as vending machines. Also within this building, there is a library of its own, special for students who have classes in this building. It is also one of the most centralized buildings on campus and close to the Holmes Student Center.
FOUNDERS MEMORIAL LIBRARY
The perfect building for a quiet study. Not only for the immense amount of books the Founders Memorial Library contains but also for the multitude and variety of spaces that exist to do tasks. Depending on the needs and how many companions you have, you can vary between one space and another. The library also has Einstein Bros. Bagels and group activity spaces, which are noisier than traditional library spaces.
HOLMES STUDENT CENTER
Finally, in the heart of the university, there is another building that, although it is a hub for activity and socializing, has ultimately lent itself to being a space to study. From the OASIS pit to the Huskie Grill, the Holmes Student Center becomes a more familiar and friendly study space for large groups than other sites, while offering activities to relax during long academic days.
