This Weekend Writeup features events such as a concert with musicians from around the DeKalb area as well as an event hosted by CAB with activities such as axe throwing and glow mini golf.
Date and Time: 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday
Location: Music Building, Boutell Memorial Concert Hall
This concert will feature performances from musicians from Cor Cantiamo, the NIU Concert Choir, DeKalb High School, Sycamore High School and Kaneland High School. Tickets cost $15 per person.
NIU ADVENTURES: INDOOR CLIMBING @ VERTICAL ENDEAVORS
Date and Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday
Location: Glendale Heights, IL
Registration Deadline: 5 p.m. Friday
Push yourself to the limit by taking on one of the largest rock-climbing gyms in the nation. Vertical Endeavors features several towering, bouldering areas and has something for new and experienced climbers. Registration cost is $35 for NIU students and $40 for faculty, staff and the community.

Location: DeKalb Public Library
Practice or play with others using beyblades and arenas provided by the library. Guests are encouraged to bring their own beyblades, arenas or accessories as the library does have a limited supply.
Date and Time: 9 p.m. to midnight Saturday
Location: Holmes Student Center
CAB invites you to check out this event which features activities such as inflatable axe throwing, roller skating, arcade games, glow mini golf and more. This event does not require pre-registration.
