FAMILY FUN SCIENCE: LIGHT-UP VALENTINE’S DAY CARDS
Date and Time: 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday
Location: DeKalb Public Library
Join the members of the DeKalb Public Library in creating light-up Valentines Day cards using circuits, LED lights, batteries and more. This event is perfect for those with children looking for a fun Valentine’s Day craft. This event is free for all to attend, however, is limited to the first 30 children to arrive.
Date and Time: Noon to 5 p.m. Saturday
Location: 230 E. Lincoln Highway
Check out the Downtown DeKalb Sweet Stroll where you can tour the downtown area and explore various vendors with sweet treats as well as earn potential prizes. Participants can start by picking up a “Sweet Stroll Passport” from any participating business and making their way through town to collect stamps for it while enjoying sweets such as cupcakes, chocolate-covered strawberries and more along the way.

Create and design your own spaceships using a 3D printer and learn the basics of model design. This event is free for all to attend.
