The Center for Black Studies will host a game show style competition to celebrate Black History Month and Black culture. This event is free for all to attend.
BATTLE BOTS: ROBOTICS DOGFIGHT
Date and Time: 4 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Friday
Location: Engineering Building, Room 254
The Robotics Club will host a tournament where eight College of Engineering and Engineering Technology student organization teams will pit specifically designed battle bots against each other. This event is free for all to attend.
SCHOOL OF THEATRE AND DANCE PRESENTS “PROWESS”
Date and Time: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday
Location: Stevens Building, Blackbox Theatre
The School of Theatre and Dance’s next performance, “Prowess,” explores how average Chicagoans come together in a superhero-like story and dances with the idea of how one responds to violence. Tickets will be $7 for adults, seniors, staff and non-NIU students and free for NIU students.

Location: Music Building, Boutell Memorial Concert Hall
The NIU Chamber Choir and University Chorus will perform several songs in a large ensemble performance directed by Eric Johnson and Mary Lynn Doherty. Tickets will be free for NIU students, $7 for the public and $5 for non-NIU students, seniors and staff.
