CAST IRON COFFEE
A local staple, located at 901 Lucinda Ave. Suite D, Cast Iron Coffee offers a number of seasonal and holiday themed drinks. The mint mocha frappe is the perfect blend of chocolate and minty goodness. The beverage is made with a mocha, coffee and mint blend and topped with chocolate drizzle, whipped cream and green mint sprinkles.
STARBUCKS
This spring, the popular chain has a number of enticing flavors. This includes the yummy iced lavender cream oat milk matcha. This green delight is made with matcha and oat milk and topped with sweet lavender cold foam. For those looking to try this lovely drink Starbucks has several nearby locations including in the Holmes Student Center and 1015 W. Lincoln Hwy.
RAISING CANE’S
Located at 2411 Sycamore Road, this franchise is known for its delicious chicken, sweet tea and lemonade. This March, the chain is bringing back their Leprechaun Lemonade just in time for St. Patrick’s Day by adding a touch of green dye to their classic lemonade. Cane’s lemonade is made with freshly squeezed lemons, water and cane sugar.
DUNKIN’
This spring Dunkin brings back its popular pistachio flavored coffee. Available in either hot or iced, the beverage mixes its traditional coffee blends with a delightfully nutty pistachio syrup. For a special treat try it topped with whipped creme or shake it up by adding an extra shot of espresso. The franchise had two locations near campus at 1101 W. Lincoln Hwy and 460 E. Lincoln Hwy.
MCDONALD’S
This popular chain offers an annual St. Patrick’s Day milkshake with the Shamrock Shake. This frozen treat is made with vanilla soft-serve ice cream, green mint syrup and topped whipped cream. McDonald’s has two locations near campus, at 805 W Lincoln Hwy and 545 E Lincoln Hwy.
