DeKalb – Human Resource Services is relocating from the Human Resources Building to 102 Lowden Hall, across from Altgeld Hall.
The move, which will take place on May 9, is meant to reflect their “ongoing commitment to enhancing service accessibility while adapting to evolving workplace arrangements,” according to Human Resource Services.
HRS provides many services to personnel at NIU related to the hiring process, accommodations, payroll, employee well-being and self-service assistance.
Several workers will go remote as a result of this transition which will decrease their footprint, according to HRS.
The official mailing address will now be 1425 W. Lincoln Highway and the current mailing address, 1515 W. Lincoln Highway, will be discontinued.
