CRAFTING CONNECTIONS
Date and Time: 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Monday

Check out this weekly arts and crafts workshop where visitors can make friends and release their stress. This event is free for all to attend.
Date and Time: noon to 1 p.m. every Thursday
Location: 71 North Partnership Studio, Catalyst Lounge 217 Normal Rd.
This event invites members of the community to step away from their screens and online chats by connecting through dialogue with fellow DeKalb residents. Each meeting will have a theme and topic with groups getting together to share their stories and/or reflections. This event is free for all to attend.
CHILL: MINDFUL ART CREATIONS TO INSPIRE INNOVATION
Date and Time: 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Thursday
Location: 71 North Partnership Studio
Members of the NIU community are invited to drop by for a breather and express their creativity through art and leave with potential new ideas. This event welcomes all skill levels and artistic supplies will be provided. This event is free for all to attend.
HOMECOMING OFFICE DECORATING CONTEST SIGN UP DEADLINE
Deadline for department registration: Sept. 19
Decorating kit pick up date and location: Sept. 25 at Human Resource Services located in Lowden Hall, Room 102
Deadline for photo submission: Sept. 30
Departments are invited to express their creative and Huskie spirit by decorating their offices to celebrate Homecoming.
Once registered, department members can pick up their decorating supplies on Sept. 25 at Human Resource Services located in (Lowden Hall, Room 102. However, they are more than welcome to use additional supplies to supplement the provided ones. Decorating can begin between Sept. 25 and Sept. 30 and the three best photos of the spaces submitted before the end of Sept. 30 will be judged before deciding the winner.

ADOBE HOMECOMING VIDEO CONTEST SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Deadline for video submission: Sept. 25
NIU video and Adobe specialists are invited to participate in the Adobe Homecoming Video contest.
Contestants will be tasked with creating a 30 to 60-second video sharing why they love NIU while showing their #HuskiePride. First place winners will receive $500, second place will receive $300 and third place will receive $200 with the winners being announced during Homecoming week.

Celebrate the innovations of science, technology, engineering and math at STEM Fest. This event will feature more than 100 exhibits, speakers and demonstrations for visitors of all ages. This event is free for all to attend.
Date and Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday
Location: 403 Edwards St. Blumen Gardens
Get a head start on celebrating the coming fall with fall-themed activities. Saturday will feature a lobster truck, live music and a bar. Sunday will feature activities such as a bar, petting zoo, face painting and more.
