To celebrate the International Day of Peace, the Pick Museum of Anthropology will be collaborating with musicians of the World Music Program to showcase how music can help communities recover after major conflicts. This event is free for all to attend and refreshments will be provided.
COLLEGE OF BUSINESS CAREER FAIR
Date and Time: 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday
Location: Barsema Hall, Haribo Commons
This career fair invites students to meet representatives from over a dozen companies, learn more about the work those companies do as well as their specific needs and give students access to contacts in their desired industries. This event is free for all to attend.
CRAFTING COMMUNITY AT THE PICK MUSEUM
Date and Time: 10 a.m. to noon Friday
Location: Pick Museum of Anthropology, Cole Hall
Head over to Cole Hall for an informal crafting session where you can meet other crafters and express your creative side. Visitors are welcome to bring their own materials but can use the supplies provided. This event is free for all to attend.
AFTERNOON CONCERT WITH CHRIS PROLA
Date and Time: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday
Location: DeKalb Public Library
Pianist Chris Prola will be performing pieces from classical composers such as Bach, Handel, Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt, Paganini and more. This event is free for all to attend.
