When the DePaul Blue Demons invade Chick Evans Field House Jan. 15 to face the NIU men’s basketball squad, students will need more than just their student ID cards to get in.

NIU students must pick up “The Ticket,” otherwise they will not be allowed to see the game.

Although NIU students are not charged for their seats, only a limited number are available, and in anticipation of the demand, the NIU athletic department will distribute the tickets on a first-come, first-serve basis at Chick Evans Field House.

As of 7 a.m. Wednesday, NIU students can present their student ID cards and receive a ticket which will be good for admission to the showdown with the Blue Demons.

Students must present their ID cards along with the tickets at the game.

For those students who arrive early Wednesday morning, doughnuts and coffee will be served.
