‘Annie’ presented with unique format

You may have seen the incredibly successful Broadway musical, or the not-so-incredible movie version, but on April 12 at 8 p.m. “Annie” will be presented in a completely unique way.

The Hearing Impaired Teachers in Training (HITT) at NIU will present the music from “Annie” with a sign language accompaniment in the Holmes Student Center Diversions Lounge.

The group of NIU students presenting the revue will be made up from HITT members as well as The Program for the Hearing Impaired (PHI) members.

The admission is free and all are encouraged to come experience the event. As anyone who has seen “Annie” before knows, it certainly should be worth your while and be interesting to see the work interpreted in a new way.
