The Star’s new staff chosen

The Northern Star chose its new leaders for the fall semester, but there is little change at the top.

Current Editor Beth Behland and Managing Editor Greg Rivara will retain their positions. However, City Editor Bill Schwingel will join the editorial board as editorial editor.

In the newsroom, Mark McGowan will serve as campus editor and Ken Goze will be city editor. Assistant Campus Editor Heidi Diaz also will keep her job.

Other new editors include Joe Bush, sports, Johanna Harris, features, Jennifer Ocic, photo, Mare Runge, copy and Ellen Skelly, Associated Press wire. Kelli Christiansen will be Skelly’s assistant.

Christiansen also will do the daily layout for the paper.

Current Production Manager Tracey Waite and Ad Production Manager Chris Lussow will continue their jobs next semester.

Advertising will be handled by Jack Goldberg and Laura Pacetti will manage classified ads. Rod Kluck will continue as billing manager.

Kelly Ludeman will be in charge of the paper’s public relations. Heather Moore will be payroll manager and Tom Collins will be systems technician.

Mark Wray will be in charge of circulation.
