The NIU women’s basketball team’s next home game will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, in the Chick Evans Field House.

The opponent of the Huskies is state-rival, and North Star Conference-rival, DePaul University. The game is being promoted as “Bring the Record Home”, which calls on the NIU community to break the Illinois women’s basketball collegiate attendance record of 4,294 set earlier this season at DePaul’s Alumni Hall.

NIU handed the Blue Demons an 81-75 loss that night and is looking to repeat the performance in DeKalb. Head coach Jane Albright is counting on the students and residents of the nearby community to help NIU sellout the fieldhouse.

The Huskies are ranked 23rd by the Associated Press and USA Today weekly polls. This marks the highest position on the charts NIU has been this season.
