Most memorable NIU experience: Beating North Carolina State last year. They were ranked 16th in the nation at the time. The win over the North Carolina Wolfpack put the NIU women’s basketball team on the national scene. By mid-season the Huskies were just in reach of the Top 20 rankings.
Role models: A combination of Kay Yow, Nancy Wilson and Pat Summitt – all women’s basketball coaches
Worst advice I was ever given: If you don’t know something, don’t ask.
