I would just like to say something to Gerald O’Dell and all of the Jim Rosborough opponents. During the past three years, Rosborough wasn’t given the opportunity to show his coaching ability. His players were young and just beginning to learn his system. O’Dell thought the program wasn’t moving in the right direction so he fired Rosborough. Well, some other big names in basketball thought he was. You see, Jim Rosborough was hired last Thursday by Lute Olson and Arizona. For those of you that don’t know, Arizona was the #1 team in the nation before the NCAA tournament. On top of all the criticism O’Dell has received, his move looks even worse now. Gerald, don’t you think you should get in a conference before trying to build a Division I powerhouse? All I can say is, good luck to Jim Rosborough as he enters a true basketball program and good luck to O’Dell as he tries to build one.
