Paradise Club offers city-style nightlife
April 3, 1989
If you’re looking for a classy, Chicago-style nightclub in DeKalb, then Paradise Club, 1212 W. Lincoln Hwy., is what you’re looking for.
“We’re different from the average college bar in that we have carpeting, brass rails and oak chairs in our nightclub,” manager Jim Manfrey said.
A live band performs at the club twice a month and a DJ is available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Thursday is the only night that a dress code is required.
Paradise Club offers many drink specials, too. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday to Thursday, two-for-one drinks are available. On Thursday nights everyone pays a $2 cover and ladies drink all night at no additional cost. Import bottles are on special for $1 on Thursdays, too. For a $4 cover on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. everyone drinks for no additional cost.
In addition to drink specials, Paradise Club serves appetizers, sandwiches, salads, soups and dinners. Food is available from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
Paradise Club is available for rental on Sunday evenings for 50 people or more. A bartender and DJ will be supplied.
Paradise Club is open on Monday to Thursday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., Friday from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
