DeKalb residents will have a chance to question mayoral candidates about their views tonight at 7 p.m. during a Candidates’ Night forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters of DeKalb County.

The forum will be held in the South Commons of the DeKalb Senior High School, 1515 S. Fourth St.

At the forum, the public will have an opportunity to meet DeKalb mayoral, aldermanic, park district and township candidates.

All mayoral candidates have expressed their intent to attend the forum, said Marie McDowell, voter service chairman for the voters’ league. Candidates for DeKalb mayor include Nick DeGraffenried, Adolph Miller, 7th Ward Alderman Mark Powell, DeKalb Mayor Greg Sparrow and Ed Stapleton.

A member of the league will moderate the forum. During the two question-and-answer sessions, written questions from the audience can be directed at the candidates.
