Findings from a one-and-a-half year study conducted by the University Council’s Ad Hoc Committee on Teacher Evaluation will be presented at the council’s meeting Wednesday.

The meeting will begin at 3 p.m. in the Clara Sperling Skyroom of the Holmes Student Center.

University Council Executive Secretary Judy Bischoff said the committee was established in the summer of 1987 to examine the process and methods of improving undergraduate teacher evaluations.

Bischoff said there was “a general concern among teachers about teacher evaluations and how teacher evaluations are used.”

The council also will be voting on several changes in the UC’s constitution and bylaws, including the university’s reinstatement policy and the rewording of certain policies.
