University Police are investigating a criminal sexual assault that occurred this weekend in Neptune Residence Hall.

“At the present time, it is an active case and we are following up on leads,” UP Lt. Ron Williams said. Williams could not say if the department has any suspects in the incident, which was reported Sunday shortly after 1 a.m.

Details of the assault were not available Monday. However, Williams said he believed the incident took place in a residence hall room.
