I am very appalled at your poor coverage of the 1988 Homecoming King and Queen. It is very ridiculous that something big such as that appeared a week later in the Star! I think if you’d spend less time and space on features about block parties on Greek Row and those long-drawn-out Police Beat “narratives,” then you’d be on to something!!

It is very sad that the Star being the only campus-based newspaper chooses to continue it’s biased reporting and narrow-minded editorials, yet it could manage to report on basketball and football players on probation and bookstore shop lifters. Is it so much to ask to put something positive on the front page such as a black Homecoming King and Queen?!
