If the high-and-mighty Editorial Board had bothered to discuss the matter of the SCOPA name change to SPEAC with some of the members of IAC, it would have discovered some important information. This information would have included the fact that we spent three straight weeks in IAC to come up with a brand new set of guidelines for SCOPA, increasing its accountability and providing proper procedures for determining any form of action that the committee may decide on.

I’m sick and tired of the Student Association being criticized by The Northern Star when the Star does not have its information right, or simply doesn’t have any information at all. If you wish to be perceived as professionals, try acting like professionals rather than becoming a student National Enquirer.
