Art history Professor Dimitri Liakos and mathematical sciences Professor Linda Sons will share their inside secrets of teaching today in a seminar titled, “The Freshman Experience.”

The seminar is one in a series, sponsored by NIU’s Committee for the Improvement of Undergraduate Education and directed toward faculty and teaching assistants.

In these seminars, teachers have the opportunity to share experiences and teaching styles with their peers in the university.

“The seminars are very helpful,” Instructional Consultant Frank Bazeli said. “They are becoming increasingly popular, with as many as 58 people participating.”
