The fight between Sigma Phi Epsilon and Sigma Pi took place at the Sig Pi house, not at The Jungle, 1027 W. Hillcrest, DeKalb.

Jeff Cufaude, adviser for University Programming and Activities, said that at The Jungle, words were “unofficially” exchanged between members of each fraternity.

Also six open forums will be held next week to review applicants for the position of assistant director of NIU’s Affirmative Action program.

Two forums will be held each day on Sept. 13, 14, and 16. The meetings on Sept. 13 and 16 will take place at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. in room 505 of the Holmes Student Center. The Sept. 14 forums will meet in Lowden Hall 210 at 10:30 a.m. and in gabel 148 at 2 p.m.
