Board of Regents Chancellor Roderick Groves will address the “mission and future” of NIU at a special Faculty Assembly meeting Wednesday, said Judy Bischoff, University Council executive secretary.

Bischoff said Groves also will talk about NIU’s budget problems, and will field any questions the assembly might have.

Groves might address how NIU’s fiscal year 1989 budget will hold up and whether NIU will get more state funding, Bischoff said.

The meeting will be held at 4:30 p.m. in Holmes Student Center room 505.
