The 14th Alumni Intrasquad meet for men’s gymnastics will be Saturday 7:30 p.m. at Chick Evans Field House.

The meet is not a tournament that other teams are involved in, but it gives the NIU gymnasts a chance to work and at the same time have some fun by competing with alumni.

It also is an exhibition NIU students can attend. Thomas Koll and Carlos Fulcher are two all-around gymnasts who have performed well for the Huskies. Fulcher set an NIU record on parallel bars with a 9.75 score last year.

Gene Margiotta is a specialist with floor exercise, having qualified for nationals last season.

“We do have good talent,” coach Chuck Ehrlich said. “We have national-level athletes.”
