Mail-in class registration starts today
November 4, 1987
Students can register by mail today through Nov. 20 for Spring, 1988 semester classes to avoid the last-minute problems of late registration.
egistration and Records Director Dick Durfee said Nov. 20 is the deadline for students to mail in their class registration forms for next semester.
Students should have received their registration materials by mail early this week, Durfee said, and “probably no later than this Thursday.” However, he said those who have not received their materials after this time can call or visit the Records and Registration Office in Altgeld 212 for assistance.
Durfee said class schedules and bills will be sent to students’ current (local) addresses by Dec. 11.
The bill payment deadline is Dec. 21, he said. Prepayment arrangements can be made in advance with the Bursar’s Office if this deadline poses a problem, Durfee said.
e said students also can ask the Bursar’s Office to send their bills to different billing addresses, if these are different from their current addresses.
Durfee said he would advise students to take advantage of early registration. “Don’t wait for January, because that might be too late to get the classes you (students) want or need.”
