Representatives from the College Republicans and the Young Democrats will go head-to-head on a variety of issues at a debate to be held tonight at 9 p.m.

CR President Gary Yambor and YD President John Morreale will discuss issues ranging from taxes to education to foreign policy. Yambor said this is the first time in “quite a while” that the two groups have had such a debate.

e said the debate is a good way for students to hear both sides of the issues, especially since the presidential election is coming up.

The YDs regular meeting, in room 405 of the Holmes Student Center, will be the arena for the debate. A YD member will act as moderator for the event which will last until about 10:30.

Community members, students, faculty and staff are invited to attend the debate.
