This is in regards to the letter printed Oct. 16 which warned of the evils of devil worship.

It is the christian doctrine of recognizing the presence of an evil force in the world, a.k.a. “Satan,” which gives these devil worshippers something to worship in the first place.

Other religions, namely eastern and native American philosophies, manage quite well without creating a devil persona to work against.

I find it ironic that the Christians oppose these Devil worshippers when it was the Christians that provided them with the original concept.

I must also object to the pomposity of Ms. Norbrothen’s narrow view revealed in her final line where she feels she has “made (us) aware of the full story.” How ridiculous.
