The Student Association today will hold the first meeting of what is expected to become a long-term support group for those concerned about the effects of AIDS.

Interested students should meet in Holmes Student Center room 506 for the meeting, which will last from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The SA is sponsoring the forum, to which a diverse group of students has been invited, in an effort to organize the self-support group for those who are interested in learning the facts about the disease.

SA President Jim Fischer said the goal of the forum is to educate both the DeKalb and NIU community about AIDS and its impact on the area.
