Two former NIU standouts—wide receiver Curt Pardridge and offensive guard Dan Rosado—have signed standard National League free agent contracts with the Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins, respectively.

Both players survived until the final 45-man cut last season. Pardridge was a sixth-round pick by the San Diego Chargers in the 1986 draft and went to the Green Bay Packers before he was released. Rosado, who starred at NIU from 1977-79, was cut by the Dolphins last September.
