“For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.” Isn’t it ironic that in the middle of Sexual Assault Awareness week, Otto’s Tavern would sponsor an evening of X-rated entertainment? The management of Otto’s actually paid somebody to come in and make degrading remarks to and about women, complete with obscene gestures.

I’ve seen patrons thrown out of bars for less. I did not stay long, so I cannot give a full review, but I doubt the middle and the end of the show were much different from the beginning.

Still, I wasn’t so upset by the performer as I was by the large crowd of students that came to witness the shameful spectacle. Are we so bored or depraved that we can watch some loser masturbate and insult us and call that entertainment?
