DeKALB — On Tuesday, the volleyball team will travel to Milwaukee to face the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. The women’s tennis team will travel Friday to  West Lafayette for the Purdue Invitational. 

This week in Huskie sports (Sept. 16 – Sept. 22):

Men’s golf

The Huskies will travel to Windon Memorial in Lake Forest, Illinois Monday for their next invitational. Sophomore Tommy Dunsire is coming off of a top 10 performance at the Badger Invitational last week. The invitational will last until Tuesday.

Women’s golf

The Huskies will tee off Sunday  at the Mary Fossum Invitational at Forest Akers – West Course in East Lansing, Michigan. 

Volleyball

The volleyball team will begin the week in 6 p.m. Tuesday in Milwaukee.

The Huskies will play two games in Peoria over the weekend. First, noon Friday against South Dakota University, then 2 p.m. on Sunday, against the University of Bradley.

The matches will be at the Renaissance Coliseum in Peoria.

Women’s soccer

The women’s soccer team will play 5 p.m. Friday against Marquette University. at Valley Fields in Milwaukee. 

NIU will finish the weekend in DeKalb 1 p.m. Sunday against South Dakota State University at the Soccer and Track and Field Complex. 

Men’s soccer

The men’s soccer team is coming off its first win this season and will be tasked with Purdue University — Fort Wayne.Kick off is set for 6 p.m. Friday at Hefner Soccer Fields in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Women’s tennis

Head Coach Eric Burns and the women’s tennis team will participate in the Purdue Invitational. The tournament will run from Friday to Sunday.
