An exhibit just as young and scrappy as Alexander Hamilton is opening its doors this spring in Chicago. Hamilton: The Exhibition celebrates the life of founding father Alexander Hamilton with influence from Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator behind the hit musical “Hamilton.”

The exhibition will be housed in a temporary structure on Northerly Island, at 1535 S. Linn White Dr. Opening April 6, the display will be open for individuals as well as group tours. Geared for field trips, the exhibition will provide a study guide for schools.

Guided by recordings of Miranda, the exhibition will take you through the life of Alexander Hamilton with a multimedia presentation of historical artifacts, displays and sound.

“…you will experience how it felt to write the way Hamilton wrote, fight the way Hamilton fought, and live the way Hamilton lived,” according to Hamilton: The Exhibition’s website.

An exhibition this impressive and anticipated isn’t inexpensive. Prices will be $39.50 for adults, $32.50 for seniors and military personnel and $25 for children 4-14 years old.
