Trevor Noah postpones Convocation Center show until 2019
December 5, 2018
DeKALB – The Convocation Center announced today Trevor Noah’s show originally scheduled for Dec. 9 will be postponed until an unconfirmed date in 2019. This information was released via the Convocation Center’s official Facebook page, and the post cited illness as the reason Noah is unable to perform.
The Convocation Center said it would release an updated performance date as soon as a date is confirmed, as well as offer refunds.
The post included a message from Noah himself, apologizing to fans for the inconvenience.
“I thought my vocal chords were healed, but according to the doctor, flying 36 hours and hosting a giant concert in South Africa didn’t help me,” Noah said in the post. “So now if I want to get better, I have to take it seriously if I want to perform 100% on my new tour next year.”
