Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra Rings in the Holiday Season

The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra is celebrating the holiday season with their “Winter Wonderland” concert 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday in the NIU Boutell Memorial Concert Hall.

The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra is “a non-profit community orchestra which provides a place for area musicians to use their talents in an orchestral setting,” according to the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra official website.

The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra was founded in 1976. Made up of professional, student and local musicians, the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra now holds an annual concert series. Upcoming shows include the Arthur D. Montzka Young Artists Concerto Competition on Jan. 5 and the Spring Pops concert on March 9.

Adult tickets for individual shows are $18.00 each, with discounted price for children, students and seniors. Season passes are also available.
