From pickled veggies to spice storage to wedding decor, mason jars have an abundance of uses in your typical household. They’ve taken over the world of decorating and have become so popular there’s even a day dedicated to them. That’s right, Nov. 30 is National Mason Jar Day so put on your DIY pants and head to the craft store.

Though the most common uses for mason jars include storing jams, jellies, pickled vegetables and spices, lately there’s been a sudden decorating craze involving mason jars. Weddings are some of the most popular events to find mason jar decor and Pinterest has an unlimited supply of DIY mason jar crafts.
