‘Facts and Snacks’ to discuss self-care and semester stress coping

By Northern Star staff

Military & Post-Traditional Student Services hosts a series of “Facts and Snacks” workshops designed to help students who identify as a military veteran, adult learner, commuter and/or transfer student. The workshops are held from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesdays in the Campus Life Building, Room 100.

In today’s workshop, MPTSS will discuss strategies to deal with burn out and develop coping skills. Students can learn the importance of self-care and hear from speakers about ways of coping with stress throughout the school year.

The workshops are free and open the all NIU students. Lunch will be provided.
