DeKALB — Demolition crews can be found at the property located at 203 E. Lincoln Highway beginning Monday.

The three-week Plaza DeKalb project will begin with demolition crews fencing the property’s perimeter Monday and beginning physical demolition Tuesday, according to a March 23 City of DeKalb press release.

The plan to redevelop the property into a four-story mixed-use building was approved in August, and will include a specialty grocery store on the ground floor. The additional floors will house 21 apartments, according to the press release.
