The DeKalb Police Department and NIU Campus Police are asking for information regarding an off-campus, attempted aggravated robbery.

The victim was approached by a male who held a weapon and demanded the victim’s personal property at approximately 11:37 p.m., Saturday, on the 700 block of North Annie Glidden Road, according to a Jan. 21 NIU Campus Police Safety Bulletin.

The suspect fled southbound on foot before receiving any property.

The suspect is described as a dark-skinned, thin male between 5’6” to 5’8” in height. He was wearing a stocking cap with a dark colored coat.
