The volleyball team was unable to carry the momentum they gained from their first win Tuesday against the Illinois State University Redbirds to the Buckeye Invitational Friday and Saturday, as they lost three games in the tournament.

The Huskies (1-14, 0-0 Mid-American Conference) faced the University of Dayton Flyers, the Ohio State Buckeyes and concluded the tournament against the Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers.

Head Coach Ray Gooden believes the team needs to be more consistent if they plan on having more success throughout the rest of the season.

“I thought at times we did some really good things,” Gooden said. “I know that consistency is [the] key right now for us.”
