DeKALB | NIU Police officials are investigating an aggravated assault in which a handgun was displayed in the area of Stadium Drive North and Grant Drive West Thursday.

The victims reported two males in a light-green, four-door Saturn displayed a handgun at about 3:45 p.m., according to a Sept. 28 Safety Bulletin. No injuries resulted from the incident.

The suspects are described as a dark-skinned male with an afro hairstyle and a light-skinned male with dreadlocks. They were last seen driving away from the area.
